    Requirements

    • Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join our team at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona—conveniently located just a short drive from San Diego, California. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality neonatal care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment while enjoying a desirable Southwest lifestyle.

      Neonatologist Position Highlights

      • 19-bed High Level II Equivalent (Level II EQ) NICU caring for neonates as early as 28 weeks gestation
      • Average daily census of 11–13 infants, supporting a manageable and patient-focused practice
      • 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage, promoting continuity of care and clinical excellence
      • Neonatologists attend high-risk deliveries for infants <35 weeks gestation or as clinically indicated
      • Neonatologist will practice within an integrated, physician-led network of:
        • 28 neonatologists
        • 42 neonatal nurse practitioners
        • 2 physician assistants
          providing coordinated, multi-level neonatal services across Arizona
      • Exposure to advanced clinical care and technologies, including ECMO, high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), oscillator ventilation, and participation in clinical research

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
    • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology
    • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment
    • Ability to obtain AZ licensure
