Job Details
Requirements
- Maintain active state LPN license and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Accurately calculate medication dosages and administer medications using universal precautions.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during exams and procedures.
- Provide telephone triage and document all patient and provider interactions.
- Ensure authorizations and referrals are in place; notify billing staff as needed.
- Document correct CPT and ICD-10 codes for services provided.
- Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms; monitor medical supply inventory.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with patients and families, treating all with dignity and respect.
- Follow OSHA standards, universal precautions, and patient satisfaction guidelines.
Qualifications
Education:
- LPN state license required.
- Must maintain CPR certification.
Experience:
- 1+ years experience in pediatric nursing in office environment preferred.
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Experience Industry: Healthcare
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
- Compassion for the patients and their families.

The pay for this position ranges from $23.08 - $37.74 per hour and is based on years of relevant experience.
