Job Details
We have a great opportuinity for an RN to join our dynamic team at Pediatrix Medical Group. We are seeking a Full Time Registred Nurse with OB office or MFM experience to join our practice in Fairfax, Virginia. At Pediatrix, we are passionate about giving high-risk expectant mothers and their babies the care they deserve.
Bilingual Spanish Preferred
Requirements
- Maintain active state RN license and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Assess patient health, prepare reports, and assist physicians during exams and procedures.
- Perform testing, administer medications using universal precautions, and document all care accurately.
- Schedule appointments, provide telephone triage, and communicate results and instructions to patients.
- Ensure proper specimen labeling and submission to labs.
- Support revenue cycle by securing authorizations and documenting CPT/ICD-10 codes.
- Deliver compassionate, respectful care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Follow OSHA standards, universal precautions, and patient satisfaction guidelines.
Qualifications
Education:
- Must possess a current/valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state that they are providing services.
- Must maintain CPR and BLS certification.
Experience Industry: Healthcare
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
