Family Nurse Practitioner - Newborns - Sunny Southwest Florida
Requirements
- Provide attending coverage at Cape Coral Hospital, a Level I low‑risk delivery service
- Responsibilities include daily newborn nursery rounding and delivery attendance
- Flexible scheduling with 32 hour work week
- Supported by a robust, experienced team of 10 neonatologists and 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Golisano Children’s Hospital
- Hospital affiliated with a state‑of‑the‑art, 70‑bed Level III NICU
- Ideal candidates will have strong prior experience in a newborn nursery
- Community hospital within the Lee Health System
- Single‑room maternity care model, allowing families to remain in one suite throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Leapfrog “A” Safety Grade, 4‑Star Baby‑Friendly® Hospital designation
- Seamless collaboration with Golisano Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami
- Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, with miles of pristine white‑sand beaches
- Excellent boating and fishing, with endless outdoor recreation options, including golf, tennis, biking, and just minutes from Sanibel Island
- Thriving arts and culture scene, featuring the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, and the historic Edison & Ford Winter Estates

Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification as an FNP
- Minimum of a master’s degree
- Highly prefer strong prior experience in a newborn nursery
