    Requirements

Level IV NICU–Integrated Delivery Service | Denver, Colorado

Rocky Mountain Children’s at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian/St. Luke’s NICU is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to join our team as a Neonatal Hospitalist within a high-volume regional perinatal center.

This position offers meaningful clinical responsibility across both newborn nursery care and delivery room support within a program that directly admits complex and extremely premature infants — including those born at 22 weeks’ gestation — to our Level IV NICU.

Physicians in this role gain valuable experience in delivery room leadership, neonatal stabilization, and collaborative care within a tertiary referral environment.

    The Opportunity

This is a dynamic clinical role embedded within an integrated OB/NICU program.

    Neonatal Hospitalists:

    • Provide care in a Level I newborn nursery
    • Attend routine and high-risk deliveries, including cesarean sections
    • Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
    • Support triage and direct admissions to the Level IV NICU
    • Collaborate closely with neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine teams

You will practice in a setting that emphasizes teamwork, clinical judgment, and hands-on neonatal care.

    Professional Environment

    • Regional Level IV NICU serving Colorado and surrounding states
    • High-volume delivery service with strong OB/NICU integration
    • Exposure to a broad range of neonatal acuity
    • Supportive mentorship from experienced neonatologists
    • Opportunities to strengthen procedural skills, including airway management and vascular access

This role provides a strong foundation for pediatricians seeking focused experience in newborn and delivery-based medicine within a high-acuity setting.

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
    • Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics
    • Eligible for NRP certification
    • Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
    • Strong communication skills and team-based approach

    Benefits and Compensation

Our clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation.
