    Requirements

    Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an expeerienced, Board Certified Neonatologist for per diem coverage at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL.

    About Orlando Health South Lake Hospital

    • Founded in 1947, South Lake Hospital is committed to serving the community and promoting healthy lifestyles.
    • 180 acre Wellness and Education campus

    The NICU & Practice Opportunity

    This brand new Level II NICU is designed for growth and supported by an established regional network. 

    • Projected NICU average daily census of 5–6 by year-end
    • Newborn nursery ADC of 6–7
    • ~2,000 annual deliveries
    • Support from Pediatrix’s flagship Level IV NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital (142 beds)
    • A collaborative care model with Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), and Pediatric Hospitalists
    • 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel (30 minute response time)
    • NNP staffing: 24-hour shifts, providing balanced coverage and continuity, full-time and part-time available

    Qualifications

    • Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
    • Active IMLC or active Florida license required
