    Requirements

    Pediatrix Medical Group has recently provided the opportunity to join a thriving Pediatric Critical Care team at Sacred Heart Medical Center, the second-largest hospital in Washington State.
    Practice Overview
    • High-acuity practice serving a large catchment area, which includes Eastern Washington, Central Washington, and Eastern Oregon
    • 20-bed PICU with an average daily census of 10-12 patients
    • Level II Pediatric and Adult Trauma Center
    • Level I Cardiac Center
    • Pediatric intensivists cater to high cardiac-need patient population 
    • Robust sedation service offering significant procedural opportunities

    Supported Practice Schedule

    • 24/7 in-house physician coverage, no call responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Must be BE/BC in Pediatric Critical Care 
    • Physicians with cardiac fellowship training or dual board certification are strongly encouraged to apply.
    • Ideal candidates will have experience in cardiovascular critical care through a cardiac-focused training program.

    Benefits and Compensation

    Starting Pay Range (Base Pay): $240,000-$300,000. Compensation based on years of experience post-fellowship. 

    Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis.  Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:

    NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire.  Team members who meet the plan’s minimum age requirement can enroll in the plan at any time, and contributions will begin as soon as administratively possible. 

    Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year. 

    Paid Sick Leave

    Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.   

    NOTE:  The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
