    Requirements

    Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our well-established neonatal practice in Syracuse, NY. Work alongside a collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and specialized nursing staff while providing care across two well-supported hospitals in Central New York.

    Practice Highlights

    St. Joseph’s Health

    Regional referral center and home to Central New York’s first Level III NICU.

    • 14-bed Level III NICU
    • Approximately 300 NICU admissions annually
    • Nearly 1,900 deliveries per year
    • Care for infants 1,000 grams and above
    • Active teaching opportunities with residents, medical students, and PA/NNP learners
    • Collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment

    Upstate Community Hospital

    Part of the SUNY Upstate Medical University system, offering a family-centered birth experience and academic collaboration.

    • Approximately 1,000 deliveries annually
    • Care for 98% of well newborns
    • Management of infants 34+ weeks gestation
    • 24/7 in-house APP coverage
    • Strong collaboration with OB, anesthesia, and nursing teams
